Ibiza, world known as the party island is a great summer destination. You will spot many celebrities from all over the planet in Ibiza.
Party full day long, a global clubbing destination, excellent beaches and hotels, hippy markets and unique experiences.
If you are not a party person, or want to enjoy a quiet family time in this beautiful island choose to go in May, June or September where the weather is still good and there is no big crowds.
Wonderful hotels such as Ushuaïa, Tropicana Ibiza Coast Suites or the Hard Rock Ibiza ( mentioned on the previous post here).
Do not miss the ultimate experience from the Adria brothers & Le Cirque du Soleil: Heart Ibiza (mentioned on this blog). It is situated in the Ibiza Gran Hotel, Casino.
You have some cute coves and beaches such as Ses Salines, Cala Tarida or Cala Comte among others.
You can get funky items and unique accessories at the Hippie Markets all around town. We went to the night Market Les Dalies ( on Mondays and Tuesdays from June to September and on Sundays in August). You also have the day Market Les Dalies on Saturdays.
You also have cute stores around the Port as well as small restaurants. You need to Visit the Sluiz Store for some creative shopping: a wonderful concept store in a huge warehouse. I loved each and every corner of it as well as their house ware, clothes, food and accessories.
Sa Calma & Lio are excellent for drinks or clubbing.
I just adored the Cotton Beach Club. I had lunch at their restaurant with the most wonderful views and great Mediterranean bites and want to try the Fay Restaurant above with an exquisite asian menu.
From Ibiza you can take the boat and spend the day, few nights or your full summer holidays (as the locals do) at the paradisiac island Formentera. Formentera is known to have some of the most beautiful beaches in the world with white sand and turquoise clear water. It is still a virgin island and is a great way to disconnect.
Choose to stay at Platja de Migjorn or Es Pujols.
Book your hotel long in advance, try the Gecko Beach Club or the Insotel Formentera Playa.
A must is lunch and beach at Beso Club, a wonderful fashion shack.
I was told to try these but didn't have the time.

Restaurants: Juan y Andrea , Can Rafalet, 10punto7 Flipper&Chiller
or Café del Lago.
For drinks: Gecko beach Club, Blue Bar or Pirata Bus for a
sunset drink.
Do not miss the light houses with beautiful sceneries: Far de
Barberia or Far de La Mola.
To move around Formentera you will need to rent a scooter or a
car ( do it in advance as well). To come from Ibiza, you can book your seat on the boat. You can choose to bring your rented car from ibiza as well. It is quite convenient.
